Each objective describes a laboratory interpretation competency, method choice, timing, and result correlation, not antiviral dosing or treatment selection.
- Interpret IgM and IgG (and related markers) as host-response evidences conditioned on timing, assay design, and clinical question
- Distinguish screening versus confirmatory/supplemental serology pathways used for selected viruses, hedging institutional algorithms
- Recognize cross-reactivity, rheumatoid factor, and window-period pitfalls that require verification before release, without selecting therapy
