Each objective describes a practical parasitology bench skill, specimen choice, microscopy, and interpretive reporting, not antiparasitic dosing or treatment selection.
- Recognize common trematode eggs using size, operculum, spine, and internal morphology criteria
- Match stool versus urine (and other) specimens to schistosome and other fluke diagnostic stages
- Interpret trematode findings with operculated look-alike caution and hedge institutional concentration and reporting conventions
